The NBTA Credit Union is pleased to sponsor many events and charities each year.  Mark Gorman, our Marketing Coordinator, is always looking for events to sponsor, causes to support, and individuals to speak to about our unique Credit Union.    

NBTA Credit Union regularly sponsors student functions such as safe grad (by drawing a school at random), and student awareness seminars such as the Smart Power Youth Assembly by Norbert Georget. In addition to student activities, we sponsor teacher events like curling, golfing, and bowling tournaments. We are also very proud to be a sponsor of the NBTA Wellness Program and have donated funds to this worthwhile program for over 10 years.

NBTA Credit Union’s Adopt-A-School Program is one of our more cherished programs we offer. Each month one school in the province is drawn to receive a cheque in the amount of $200 to be used by the staff in whatever way they see fit - Free of taxes or obligation. 

In addition to the school-related programs we offer, NBTA Credit Union staff have also contributed their time and effort to support the local food banks, CIBC Run for the Cure, Children’s Wish Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society, SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society, and UNICEF, just to name a few.  Since we are a province-wide organization, we support causes and events in various communities. 

As our bond expands to include University staff, College staff, and certain other groups approved to join, we are looking for ways to sponsor these groups, educate them about the benefits of our Credit Union, and build on the tradition of giving back to our members.
